Technical Design

Once your planning permission is approved (or confirmed as not required), the next key stage is the technical design, also known as the Building Regulations stage. This involves producing detailed construction drawings and specifications that show exactly how your project will be built to meet legal safety and performance standards.

What does it include?

- Detailed construction drawings: Including floor plans, sections, construction build-ups, insulation, foundations, roof structure, etc.

- Notes and specifications: Covering materials, construction methods, and compliance with regulations.

- Structural input: We will coordinate with a structural engineer to ensure beams, foundations, and load-bearing elements are correctly designed (if required).

- Building regulations submission: All necessary documents are submitted to your Local Authority or an Approved Inspector for review and approval.
